Had St. Valentine been alive today and had he registered the copy right of Valentine's day he would have earned Billions of Dollars through selling his copy rights to card manufacturers, e- cards senders and hoteliers who hold Valentine days in their eating lounges which other wise run empty.
The U.S. Greeting Card Association estimates that approximately 190 million valentines are sent each year in the US. Half of those valentines are given to family members other than husband or wife, usually to children. When you include the valentine-exchange cards made in school activities the figure goes up to 1 billion.
Valentine day is a big business, and a huge industry of developing the art of fooling females through display of artificial love.
